Welcome to Sevenoaks Community Centre!

Sevenoaks Community Centre is not obvious from the outside as it is right on a corner and tucked behind Travis Perkins builders' merchant, but once inside it all starts to make sense. The main hall has a wooden floor, a high ceiling with several fans to keep you cool, and a large stage area where we put the sound system. There is a hatch through to the kitchen area and we use it to serve refreshments, sweets, and occasional snacks throughout our evenings.

It is an excellent hall with a great atmosphere, and is an ideal place to spend a Friday night dancing.

Next Event

22 Dec - CLOSED

It's the night before Christmas (weekend)
And all through the house...
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a dancer!

Happy Christmas!!!

The Class

Welcome to Jivebeat!

Beginners and experienced dancers alike are always welcome at Jivebeat. We start every class - whether LeRoc or Tango - with the fundamentals to get you going, then add in something for those of you who want something more challenging. This might include a more complicated step sequence or a greater emphasis on styling and musicality, but whatever it is the emphasis is on having fun whilst you learn. There is no pressure to "get it right" at Jivebeat, so you can learn at your own pace and try things out as and when you are ready.

Timings

The doors open at 7.45pm, and the evening runs until 11pm.
